Delete your account
Applies to: Zanaya mobile app (iOS & Android)
You can delete your Zanaya account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what is removed, and how long it takes.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — In the app
- Open the Zanaya app and sign in.
- Go to Profile (Профил).
- Open Account & security (Акаунт и сигурност).
- Tap Delete account (Изтриване на акаунт) and confirm.
Option 2 — By email
If you can't access the app, email it@zanayamath.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request.
What gets deleted
When the request is completed, we permanently delete or anonymize the personal data linked to your account, including:
- Your name, email address, and username.
- Your profile picture.
- Device push-notification tokens.
- Learning activity and progress associated with the account.
Some content tied to shared activity — such as messages in a class chat — may be retained in anonymized form (with your identity removed) so group conversations remain intact for other participants. We may also retain limited records where the law requires it.
Timing & cancellation
After you request deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. You can cancel the request at any time during those 30 days by signing back in — nothing is lost.
Once the 30 days pass, the data above is permanently deleted or anonymized.
